The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program has been reclassified in 2024 and has three levels: Platinum, Gold and Silver. The requirements and benefits of each level are different, as follows:
1. Platinum
Deposit requirements: Minimum deposit of USD 1 million (or equivalent in other currencies).
Visa duration: 20 years, renewable.
Other requirements: Applicants must provide health insurance, a clean criminal record, and meet residency requirements.
Other benefits: Enjoy the highest level of property purchase requirements, investment opportunities and premium benefits.
2. Gold
Deposit requirements: Minimum deposit of USD 500,000 (or equivalent in other currencies).
Visa duration: 15 years, renewable.
Other requirements: You also need to provide health insurance, a clean criminal record, etc., and meet basic residency requirements.
Other benefits: Provide medium-level property purchase requirements and other corresponding benefits.
3. Silver
Deposit requirements: Minimum deposit of $150,000 (or equivalent in other currencies).
Visa duration: 5 years, renewable.
Other requirements: Applicants need to meet basic health insurance and criminal record requirements.
Other benefits: The minimum value of the property purchase is lower, which is suitable for applicants with smaller budgets.
